The Gunfighters

This was the only missing book in my collection of the West. The writting is well done and the description of "shootout at the OK corral is awesome. You feel as if you were there. Well researched book. I had already read the book several times over and found it hitorically accurate and well written, but loaned it out never to be retured. Was great to have a replacement and the condition is better than I expected.

I grew up watching westerns. It was a joy learning so much about the Old West and its outlaws and lawmen. The book dispels many myths and I thoroughly enjoyed the author's writing style.

Okay ~ this is a must-have for anyone who enjoys the old west. I bought this book as a replacement as mine was destroyed (along with many others in my library) many years ago by fire and flood. I was delighted to see that there are copies still out there to buy. This one was in a fabulous, pre-owned condition and the shipper was a real giddy-up and move'em out person, as I had it in my eager hands in two shakes of a lamb's tail.

I enjoyed reading about the gunfighters of the old west.

I love the cover and binding of this book. Scared to take it out of the house to read, I do not want to ruin the cover.

It's a great book at a great price. But the packaging wasn't very good the mail carrier bent it and stuffed it in the mail box. The book now has a huge crease down the front of the book.

This book is a great gift for anyone who loves the Western Days. The pictures are clean and crisp. The cover (Leather-like) vinyl with grooves and indentions like on a saddle. Very well put together. Makes an excellent gift for any Western savvy individual. My dad sure liked it and then some!
I bought this book for my special needs adult son who LOVES all things about the old west. He can't read very well and the book was full of pictures which made him very happy.
